What Food Trends Are the Cheftestants Sick of?

Bravo's Top Chef alum and Top Chef: All Stars winner Richard Blais doesn't shy away from voicing opinions on social media — and you might say he even relishes the opportunity to drum up controversy. Remember that time he celebrated a very contentious bagel-slicing strategy?

How to Watch

Watch Top Chef on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

Well, he's back with a tweet that he knew off the bat would be sure to stir the pot. He tweeted, "My chef friends are going to roast me for this, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, a nice thinly cut ribeye steak grilled medium-ish well..."

And yes, you can bet the — ahem — feedback started to roll in pronto.

"That’s sounds like a perfect Philly Cheese Steak. I’ve never seen a med rare Cheese Steak."

"Might as well just slap the cow in the face!"

"Are eggs boiled properly when the yolks turn gray?"

And perhaps the funniest comment of all: "Are you trying to let us know you’re being held hostage?"

Others were more supportive: "I like you. I respect your knowledge and experience. I know a ribeye (of all the cuts!) has the fat content to stand up to this treatment and is no doubt just fine and tasty. You gotta be who you're gonna be. I remain a 'black & blue' stalwart."
