Bravo's Top Chef alum and Top Chef: All Stars winner Richard Blais is feeling better than ever lately after making permanent changes to his diet that resulted in a dramatic 60-pound weight loss. And these days, his wife's eating habits have changed, too — but because of age, not weight loss.
Chef Richard shared an Instagram tribute to his wife, Jazmin Blais, on the occasion of her "milestone" birthday. Showing a Boomerang video clip of a fit- and joyful-looking Jazmin dancing amid the natural splendor of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, he wrote, "Happy birthday love! @jazminblais You’ve hit an amazing milestone today! You’re at the age where you order a 2/3rds decaf soy cappuccino. I love you more then ever babe."
Although the Top Chef alum was just having a little fun, he did also nod to a very relatable progression that comes with age — when you know exactly what you want, you have earned the right to get it just how you like it... and perhaps you also inhabit a body with an ever-more delicate constitution as the years go by!
Of course, it's clear that both the Blaises are aging like fine wine — or, you might say, like decaf soy cappuccino prepared just so.
Hey, whatever you're toasting with these days — let's all raise a glass to say, "Happy birthday, Jazmin!"
