When you move into a new home, there are a lot of to-dos, like furnishing the space, for example, or landscaping the backyard. Or in Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s case, its filling your pool with funny floats.
But for Brittany, there was also another major new homeowner task — finding that perfect selfie lighting! In a hilarious — and beautiful —post to her Instagram account recently, the Vanderpump Rules server shared with her 1.3 million followers that she found the perfect spot to snap pics of herself.
“I’ve already found the perfect selfie spot in my house lol #lightingiseverything," she wrote.
No truer words have ever been spoken, Brittany! Lighting is key for taking selfies, and the Kentucky native found the ideal nook for a quickie photo shoot upstairs in her new $1.9 million home, adjacent to her staircase and her uber-glamorous bathroom. With nary a selfie stick or mega lamp in sight, Brittany realized that a room flooded with natural lights is going to churn out the best results for the ’gram!
