Lala Kent Surprised Us All in a Top Hat and Turtleneck at New York Fashion Week
The Vanderpump Rules stunner looked almost unrecognizable in this look, which was an homage to an iconic Pretty Woman scene.
You can use many words to describe Lala Kent (extra, hilarious, refreshingly adorable), but predictable is not one of them. The Vanderpump Rules beauty always keeps us guessing with her outlandish style that usually involves barely-there swimwear, nude bodysuits, and impossibly long locks. So it came as a bit of a shock when we spotted the Give Them Lala Beauty founder out and about in New York City for Fashion Week wearing a completely covered up (in the summer no less!) ensemble that included a long-sleeve turtleneck and a sophisticated top hat.
On September 9, Lala took to the streets of Soho in NYC looking like we've never seen her before. In the Instagram pic, Lala rocked a black and white polka dot silk slip dress styled over a thin, black turtleneck designed by Sandy Liang. The elevated style is cinched in with a sleek, long belt and accessorized with strappy white sandals and a short, black top hat. The ensemble was pulled together by celeb stylist, Alexandra Renee Scott who reminded us that Lala's look may have a familiar reference. "You People Work On Commission Right? ★ LALA ★ Stomping Divots Chic," Scott wrote.
Yes, that's right. Lala is full on channelling chic vibes from the iconic film, Pretty Woman. But just in case you didn't recognize Lala with this country club-ready look, she clarified things in her caption. "It’s me! Lala ?," she wrote.
So. So. Good.
