In Their Own Words: Here's Exactly How That Lala Kent/Ariana Madix Hookup Happened

You would think that Tom Sandoval was turned on by that Ariana Madix-Lala Kent hookup the way he proudly told the story during a guys' day out on Vanderpump Rules — cigar in mouth and all.

In reality? He was completely annoyed. His words.

The SURvers all sat down for a Vanderpump Rules After Show chat to explain the events of that afternoon, and well, we’ll just let them get to it.

Here’s how they describe that day:

Lala: “How did me and Ariana get together? I may be a little bit foggier than Ariana, so I’ll tell you what I remember, which may not be much. Um, we went to get Mexican food, just had girl time, got s--tfaced.”

Ariana: “We were like stumble-out-of-the-bar wasted, to the point of like I remember we did, like, a photo shoot. I was like, 'Take a cool picture of me,' a couple of wasted girls doing a photo shoot. And then, I was like, 'Well, Tom’s car shopping, and he kind of volunteered to pick us up.'"

Tom: “I was just most annoyed by the fact that I’d been in a car dealership for roughly eight hours or more, and like, Lala and Ariana had been drinking all day. I was like, 'Dude, I wanna drop you guys off, I wanna go have a beer, I’ve had a f--king day.'”

Lala: “So we’re in Tom’s car and at this point I’m like, 'F--k it, she [Ariana] looks good tonight.”

Ariana: “We get in the car, we’re getting in the car, and I open the thing for her to get in the backseat, and she’s like, ‘No ride in the back with me.’ And I was like, ‘Why?’ And she’s like, ‘Just ride in the back with me.” And I was like, ‘OK fine, I’ll ride in the back with you.’

So the she kind of initiated some things happening, I was behind Tom, so I was kind of grabbing him, I’m looking at him in the rearview mirror, and that’s when I feel like I started to really sober up, because I was like, ‘What is happening right now? What is happening?’ Obviously Lala is super hot, so I was thinking is this maybe our … are we three gonna? …Because that sounds f--king great.”

So what stopped Tom from getting involved?

Tom: “Dude, I was hungry and jittery from coffee. When you’re overly sober and caffeinated and you’re around two people who are s--tfaced, it’s like annoying. You know I was like, annoyed.”

Ariana: “Because I had sobered up I thought like, actually, ‘She has a boyfriend.' I thought that if I pressured this to happen, I think she’s way more drunk  than I am, I would feel bad pushing that. I don’t think that’s what she wanted… I don’t think that’s what she wanted, and I think she really would have regretted that [a threesome with Tom.]"

Lala: “I don’t remember much, however, I do know last year Ariana was very like self-conscious because people were mean to her about down there, like her old boyfriend. That bitch has nothing to be insecure about. Just putting it out there.”

So, does Ariana still want a threesome?

Well, you'll have to watch the clip above to find out the answer to that, but consider this our biggest (implied) takeaway: Don't spend all day at the car dealership if you think you may have a threesome opportunity later on.

You can be annoyed enough to not want one.
