Scheana Shay has always had her eyes on the future.
This was evident in Vanderpump Rules Season 1, where she was introduced as an ambitious SURver with dreams of becoming a pop star, getting married, and having kids. More than 10 years later, Scheana's prophecy has been fulfilled — and she only faced a few roadblocks on the way.
Viewers have seen Scheana release singles (like the major bop, "Good as Gold"), get married to and then divorced from Mike Shay, find love with Brock Davies, and give birth to their daughter, Summer Moon, in April 2021.
Only time will tell what Season 11 has in store for the Scheananigans with Scheana podcast host, but you can get a look into her past, thanks to these adorable personal photos from her childhood that she has shared.

After studying broadcast journalism at Azusa Pacific University, Scheana went on to get cast in roles on shows like Greek, Victorious, 90210, and Jonas, where she got to interact with the Jonas Brothers.
"I remember Nick [Jonas] was 16 at the time, and there was one scene where I had to like, grab his hand and pull him from one set to the next, and he was like, so nervous," Scheana recalled to People Now in 2019.

Although Scheana might be hiding behind a tree in this photo, she is anything but shy. In addition to acting in front of the camera, Scheana has also performed on stage — including singing and dancing for the cast of VPR in Season 1.
"Singing live for the first time in front of a huge group of people just stressed me, because I didn't know if I would sound like complete sh-t or not," she told BravoTV.com in 2013.

Luckily, she had been preparing for performances like this since she was a child, and her instincts had kicked in.
"Once I got on stage, it all came back to me," she said. "All the performance training I had as a child and through college just came right back in and I took over the stage — splits, booty poppin', and all."

Scheana grew up in Southern Calfornia and these photos are proof that being from Southern California is in her blood. Scheana looks so relaxed in this photo, sitting on a boat in front of some gorgeous looking mountains while wearing a neon colored life jacket.

Obviously, Scheana is a natural in front of the camera. But in spite of having dreams of being in the spotlight, Scheana told RadarOnline in 2013 that she never thought she would end up on reality TV.
"I was a little bit apprehensive at first," she said. "I didn't know if I wanted to do reality TV while trying to be an actress."
"But this type of show was the most perfect thing for me at the time, because it's not just a reality TV show, it's a career-based driven reality show."
Scheana Shay Played Baseball
Once upon a time, Scheana was also a baseball player.
"For those who don't know, I started playing baseball in 1992 after seeing the movie, A League of Their Own, which my great Aunt Shirley was in. She was a Rockford Peach and I was the only girl on an all boys team," she wrote in the caption of a 2023 Instagram post. "It was always a dream of mine to throw out the first pitch in a professional baseball game when I grew up. Well, we did it!"
"I hope I made my Aunt Shirley proud in heaven."
The post came when Scheana threw out the first pitch at a San Diego Padres game, and opened up about her long history with the national pastime on Instagram.

Although Scheana's VPR cast member and friend, Ariana Madix is more well-known for her pastime of riding horses, Scheana was at one point comfortable enough to also saddle up.

Although she might have dressed up like a witch for Halloween at some point during her childhood, Scheana told Us Weekly in November 2016 that she is "obsessed" with another Halloween mainstay.
"I'm obsessed with vampires and would like to be one one day," Scheana said.

Scheana is a big fan of Christmas: Not only has she worn some fab holiday fits and decorated her Palm Springs home for Christmas, but she also released her own Christmas song with Lala Kent titled, "Christmas Slay."
But theirs is maybe one Christmas carol you don't want to play in front of the kids. With lyrics like "Shake it like a snow globe, Santa's little thottie" it might not be super family friendly, but it is catchy.

Scheana is an animal lover through and through. In addition to having pets over the years, Scheana once adopted a penguin in a friend's name after having an explosive fight, and has paid tributes to fallen animals in the past.
