Scheana Shay Calls Out Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval for “Lying Through Their Teeth”
Plus, find out if Scheana believes whether or not Lisa Vanderpump was suspicious of Sandoval and Raquel.
Scheana Shay and Tom Sandoval were friends long before he ever started dating her BFF, Ariana Madix. However, when she got word that he had cheated on Ariana with Raquel Leviss, that friendship obviously came to an end. Now, Scheana’s reflecting on the alleged “lying” he (and apparently Tom Schwartz) did throughout Vanderpump Rules Season 10.
The “Crush” Comment
Schwartz told Sandoval on Episode 12 that he had a “gut feeling” Raquel had “a crush on someone else.” However, as Scheana pointed out on the latest iteration of her Scheananigans podcast, Schwartz was already aware that Raquel and Sandoval had hooked up at that point (he said so himself on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in April).
“They are both lying through their teeth,” Scheana said of the Toms when reflecting on the particular Vanderpump Rules moment. “When Schwartz said, ‘I think she has a crush on someone else,’ and then they’re talking about Sandoval fertilizing Ariana’s eggs, I’m like, are you guys just hitting your talking points in this right now? Because it was weird watching that conversation knowing that, like, y’all know what you did.”
The Beach Conversation
Scheana went on to explain that while watching the same episode, she was even more disturbed to relive the conversation she and Sandoval had during the group’s beach day. As part of the chat, she was informing him of the rumors starting to swirl about him and Raquel since they had been spotted at The Abbey together.
“I actually physically got chills watching my conversation with Sandoval at the beach, because I now know he was lying to my face,” Scheana explained. “We were, like, each other’s hype man for Raquel… That got me.”
Lisa’s Suspicions
Scheana has yet to believe there’s any validity to the rumors about Sandoval and Raquel at this point in the season, but while watching Episode 12, she thought Lisa Vanderpump was starting to get suspicious.
“She picked up on a vibe, for sure,” Scheana said. “There’s no way she knew — she didn’t even know about rumors then — but she picked up on a vibe, 100 percent.”
Specifically, when Sandoval and Raquel are interacting in front of Lisa, Scheana added, “You see the wheels in her head start to turn. Like, ‘Why is he looking at her like that?’”
The drama, of course, is far from over. As Scheana put it, “There’s still so much more in the next few episodes.”
