How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Peacock and the Bravo app.

Bravotv.com: Tell us a little bit more about what you do outside of your work at SUR?
Stassi Schroeder: Well just to preface that, I have a column for Pandora's online luxury magazine, TheDivineAddiction.com. The column is called "Style Diaries by Stassi," and it deals with dressing on a budget. Fashion has always been a number one passion of mine, and after almost six years of living in Los Angeles, I've learned quite a bit; ESPECIALLY when it comes to budgeting. Obviously, as everyone can see, I'm a waitress, so I don't have the luxuries that other women in Hollywood have. I had to learn how to piece outfits together that were cost-effective, yet ultra-fab. Every week, Pandora and I go over ideas and we choose a topic for the week. I go through my wardrobe, Pandora's, (and sometimes even Lisa's), and I write an article on how to achieve certain looks. I put together about six outfits and then Pandora and I shoot all the wardrobe options. It's actually quite time-consuming, but I love it, and I'm so thankful to be doing it.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Jax and Laura-Leigh’s relationship? Did you agree with Lisa that he was trying to "send you a message"?
SS: I honestly thought the whole thing was laughable, and it's quite hard for me to take seriously. Prior to their "coming out" as a couple, Jax had told me that if I were to leave him he'd go find one of my friends to date to throw in my face. Even though he had repeatedly told me that, I didn't think any of my friends would actually betray me like that. Up until that point, I was Laura-Leigh's only friend at work. No one at SUR liked her, and it was very uncharacteristic of me to take someone random under my wing, but I did with her. My mistake. Come to find out she was telling Jax that she had a crush on him for six months. So that means when we were getting our nails done, confiding in each other, and hanging out, she was secretly wanting to hop on my boyfriend. Laura-Leigh disturbs me. Lisa was dead-on; Jax was just using Laura-Leigh.

Why did you reach out to Katie to make up (and not Kristen)? Were you happy with your conversation with her went?
SS: Over the past weeks of fighting, Katie never went out of her way to hurt me in any way. On the other hand, I felt that Kristen did -- as you saw when she tried to get me in trouble at work, befriended Laura-Leigh, turned her back on me, and continued to talk badly about me. All of that just kept prolonging the pain I felt towards her. With Katie, I was able to come to a place where I didn't feel hurt by her. Katie is one of the most reasonable people I know. She is very intelligent and level-headed. I knew that Katie was hurting the same way I was, we both were wrong and we both were right. We were both guilty of things and both innocent to a certain extent. I really missed her, and she hadn't gone out of her way to hurt me, so it just felt right to speak with her. I was so happy with the conversation. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted. I had my sister back again.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Frank getting fired? Did you think he deserved it?
SS: I was really blown away by that. I honestly didn't think he deserved it. Yes he was wrong, but we've all gotten out-of-line and it's really hard when you have customers coming at you. Sometimes we are going to accidentally mess up. I remember hearing the "pulling the underwear over his head" story, and I just about fell off my chair laughing. I had no idea what the outcome of that was going to be, and the firing caught me completely off guard. Jax and Laura-Leigh can bang in a bathroom but Frank can't threaten a melvin? Haha.

Bravotv.com: What did your parents think of Frank?
SS: My parents really liked Frank. I think they saw that I felt safe and confident with him. He calmed me down a lot. Frank and I are very different. He's more reserved and level-headed, where as I'm always out there, and (let's be honest) a little bit crazy. My parents liked that he was the type of man to bring me back to down to earth.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Frank saying that he serves as your personal assistant?
SS: Well that just made me mad. If you are going to complain about doing nice things for me, then don't do them in the first place. But really, I am so grateful for him, and he's such a generous person, but at the end of it all, I don't want all of that thrown in my face.

Bravotv.com: Were you shocked that things went south with Frank so quickly?
SS: Shocked is an understatement. It was completely out of leftfield. And, while it seems like it was just a fleeting romance, I really had developed strong feelings for him. So it hit me hard. He just couldn't deal with all that comes along with dating me, and I get that, it was just hard to hear. The drama was just too much for him. Having him break it off was really rough. He's by far one of the greatest guys I've ever met. It's a shame we don't get to see all of the warmer sides to him. He was thrown into this awful situation while having no one to back him up; he had it hard this summer.

Katie Maloney

Bravotv.com: Tell us a little bit more about what you do outside of your work at SUR?
Katie Maloney: I'm working towards building my resume and even starting my own company "Music Kills Kate Music Supervision." I am learning the business of music supervision as I go, and it is so fun! You know what they say, "Do you something you love and you will never have to work a day in your life." Beyond that I'm active, going to the gym, going to see bands play, and enjoying the fruits of life.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Jax and Laura-Leigh's relationship? Did you think it was too soon?
KM: I think everyone can share my thoughts in that it was purely a rebound and merely a way for Jax to get a rise out of Stassi. It was WAY too soon. The same way I felt it was too soon for Frank and Stassi. Jax felt like since Stassi had "moved on with Frank," well then of course he HAD to do the same.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of the rumor that they had hooked up at work? Did you think it was a fire-able offense?
KM: I think I threw up a little. Honestly WHO has sex in a public restroom, let alone at you work place? I think it is SO inappropriate and definite grounds for firing.

Bravotv.com: Why did you want to make up with Stassi? What do you think was holding Kristen back from doing the same thing?
KM: I am the type of person who is patient and had unyielding understanding. I really try to pick and choose my battles. I had swept a lot of things that had happened with Stassi under the rug, simply to not live with animosity or anger. I think there's nothing more toxic than carrying out a grudge. Life is short and should be enjoyed. I always look at the big picture. I wanted to make up with Stassi because I couldn't stand the tension and wanted to really squash it -- once and for all.

Kristen may be my best friend, but we are very different. She doesn't let things go as easily as quickly as I do. She, like me, is a very sensitive person and when she feels she has been betrayed, it hard for her to bounce back.

Bravotv.com: How did you feel going into that talk with Stassi? Were you happy with how it turned out?
KM:I was REALLY nervous! Stassi has been my best friend for years and this was our first falling out. I hadn't spoke to her in almost a month. I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I have ALWAYS been honest with Stassi and suddenly my honesty was not welcome, which led to our fallout. I went in with every intention of being honest with her but was nervous that she still wouldn't want to hear it. She really let me have the floor and speak my mind and heart without interruption. I was so happy when she reacted positively and understood where my mind had been all summer. Stassi is really like a younger sister. I think our friendship is much like a sisterhood, in that I give her that tough love simply because I'm protective and truly want to best for her.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Frank getting fired?
KM:I heard angels singing! Haha! No, I was happy to hear that he was fired. It was awkward working with him and having to communicate when I really couldn't stand to look at him! Some people say that I should have taken Stassi's side and supported her with Frank, but what they don't realize is that Frank never tried to win me over. If I was dating a new guy that wasn't trying to win Stassi or Kristen over, he wouldn't last long.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Frank and Stassi breaking up? Why do you think she and Jax will get back together?
KM:Initially I was sad, ONLY because I knew Stassi was hurting again. She hadn't let her heart heal before getting involved with Frank. Stassi and Jax have something really rare and unique. They might fight like all hell, but there's this innate, organic bond between them that is hard to articulate. I feel that they both WANT to be together, but have so much to work out. I want to see the both happy and if they can both be happy together than even better!
