Lala Kent Just Bought a House “Right Next Door” to Scheana Shay: Details
The Vanderpump Rules castmates recently revealed they are now neighbors.
Scheana Shay and Lala Kent are now neighbors!
During the March 10 episode of Scheana’s Dear Media podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, Lala revealed she purchased a new home. “I just bought a house next to you,” she told Scheana, to which her Vanderpump Rules castmate confirmed, “This bitch just bought a house right next door to me.” Based on the rest of their conversation, it seems Lala’s new house is located in Palm Springs, where Scheana has owned a vacation home since 2019.
As Scheana showed in a 2020 house tour on her YouTube channel, her Palm Springs home has a kitchen with a “really dope backsplash,” a closet filled with “iconic looks,” and a breathtaking backyard that includes a gorgeous pool. Although we don’t know much about Lala’s new home just yet, we can assume it likely has the stunning mountain view that is visible from Scheana's house. As Scheana declared in her 2020 video, “The view is everything.”
When they're not in Palm Springs, Scheana and Lala both currently live in beautiful apartments in Los Angeles. In a March 2022 Amazon Live, Lala opened up about getting settled in her new abode. “It feels like my home because it is my home, and I got to start it from scratch when it came to the paint color and my furniture,” she said at the time. “It was all me. I didn’t have to consult with anybody. I just filled it with everything that I loved.”
While Lala noted that the apartment is “not gigantic,” it is “definitely not small” either. “But it’s mine,” she said. “That’s what I think I love most about it. It’s very calm. I’m all about energy.” Although she just made a major home purchase in Palm Springs, she has recently expressed interest in a couple of other big moves. In February 2022, she wrote in an Instagram Story that she is “planning on getting a place in Utah soon,” and in November, she declared in an Instagram post, “I want to move to New York.”
