Scheana Rocks a Tie-Dye Crop Top & Matching Skirt at Her Poolside Birthday Bash (PICS)
Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay donned a sizzling look to celebrate her special day with some of her castmates.
Scheana Shay is fully onboard the tie-dye train.
The Vanderpump Rules mom sported the ’60s-era motif during her poolside birthday bash on May 7 — proving once again that tie-dye is, and forever will be, a spring/summer staple.
Scheana's Birthday Look
Scheana embraced the psychedelic pattern with a sleeveless crop top by Tiare Hawaii, a global beachwear brand founded by Jane Hoskins. The piece featured a pink-and-light aqua ombre effect with a subtle sweetheart neckline, a smocked bodice, and a form-fitting cinch construction that allowed for comfortable, carefree movement.
The former SURver paired the playful design with the brand's matching Tulip Wrap Skirt, an elevated alternative to the traditional sarong. The garment, which had the same tie-dye effect as the top, was constructed with a flowy, lightweight fabric (ideal for combatting the SoCal heat) and a tie-waist detail that is perfect for layering over a swimsuit.
Scheana accessorized the set with a pair of chunky white sandals and a pink cap from Ariana Madix’s merch collection. The six-panel strap back was embroidered with the phrase, “It’s not me, it’s you."
The “Good as Gold” singer celebrated her birthday at the Canopy Club, a rooftop restaurant and lounge located in Culver City. She was joined by her close friends and family, including her husband, Brock Davies; 2-year-old daughter, Summer Moon; as well as her Vanderpump Rules castmates Ariana and Katie Maloney.
Fellow cast member Lala Kent did not attend the festivities but sent birthday wishes via Instagram.
“I’ve never had fomo, but I do in this moment,” Lala captioned a story that featured a photo from the party. “Happy birthday, scheash, and congratulations to my very strong, ambitious, badass, and entertaining girls.”
Later that night, the Vanderpump Rules ladies were announced as the winners of Best Reality On-Screen Team at the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Though they weren't at the event, Katie, Ariana, Scheana, and Lala thanked fans in a pre-taped acceptance speech.
“We’ve been through so many ups and downs as friends,” Ariana said, before alluding to her highly publicized breakup. “Obviously, it’s a very tumultuous time in all of our lives, but we are truly at our best when we come together as a team, so thank you.”
