The Moment We’ve All Been Waiting for Has Finally Come for Schwartz & Sandy’s
Vanderpump Rules business partners Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval recently revealed big news about the opening of their cocktail lounge and restaurant.
In July, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval had a party to celebrate their new cocktail lounge and restaurant, Schwartz & Sandy’s. Although it seemed at the time that the business was finally finished, at BravoCon 2022 three months later, Sandoval revealed exactly why it still hadn’t opened to the public.
“There’s always things that come up,” he said during the Cocktails at Schwartz & Sandy’s panel on October 16. “There’s things that you know, that you don’t know. Then there’s things you don’t know you don’t know. One of the things we didn’t know we didn’t know is how hard it is to find back-of-the-house staff, cooks, right now. So that has slowed us up.”
On November 1, the Vanderpump Rules business partners had an exciting update to share about their long-awaited venture. “The day has finally arrived,” read the caption of a post on the official Schwartz & Sandy’s Instagram account. “We open tomorrow [November 2] at 5 pm. We will be open Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat at 5 pm. Accepting walk ins and reservations.”
At NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation in May, Schwartz shared details on what to expect when the doors officially open. “It’s awesome,” he said. “It’s a funky, eclectic, playful cocktail lounge. I think people are going to love it. You’re gonna come, you’re gonna have a good time. The music’s gonna be on point.” Noting they would offer “delicious, yummy food” and “great cocktails,” Schwartz also gave a hint about the menu: “We wanted to do a little homage to our Midwest roots.”
