Sherri Cartwright Celebrated Her Birthday with a Pretty Pink Strawberry Cake

Brittany Cartwright's mother, Sherri, just celebrated her birthday Kentucky-style. On her special day, Sherri — who lives on a sprawling, 400-acre farm — posted a photo of herself smiling gamely with one of her prized horses, Delilah. The stable celebration also involved a festive birthday treat. 

In the snap, Sherri holds a prettily frosted pink-and-white cake. (It's quite the princess-y confection; we think Brittany would approve.) Though the dessert was for the birthday girl, Sherri still brought her equine companion a treat. "It’s my birthday," she wrote. "But I bought [Delilah] a new red bandana halter."

Stassi Schroeder's mother, Dayna, hopped into the comments section with some birthday wishes — and a touch of dessert envy. "Delilah looks so pretty in her new red halter...and you look so beautiful as always," she wrote. "But that CAKE!!!!!!! YUMMY!!! I want some of that cake!" With just one word, Sherri made the cake even more tempting: "Strawberry," she wrote, describing its flavor. 

Dayna wasn't the only one angling for a taste of the strawberry-laced confection. "Delilah get a piece?" one commenter asked. Sherri replied: "She tried." We certainly can't blame her for that. 

Over in her feed, Brittany showed her mama some birthday love. Posting a series of sweet, mother-daughter photos, she wrote: "Happy Happy Birthday to my beautiful and amazing Mom!!! I love and miss you so much.  I am one lucky girl to have you for a Mom. Love you to pieces."
