Stassi Schroeder Reveals Her “Loose” Intermittent Fasting Diet Plan

Stassi Schroeder’s daily diet is anything but basic. In the video above, the Vanderpump Rules cast member details her “loose intermittent fasting” plan, which doesn’t necessarily always include her beloved ranch dressing or SUR’s fried goat cheese balls.
Following the intermittent fasting pattern of cycling between periods of fasting and eating, the Next Level Basic author starts her day with a CELSIUS fitness drink. Not a fan of breakfast food, Stassi skips the meal altogether and tries to wait until lunch, when she uses Postmates to get a Chinese chicken salad. Before the clock strikes 6:00 p.m. and her eating for the day is done, she makes sure to have something small in order to prevent late-night Taco Bell orders. Though she stops eating, she continues drinking water — and occasionally red wine — at night.
While she’s strict on her start and end time for meals, Stassi doesn’t limit herself in terms of what's on her plate. “If it’s happy hour, I'm like, 'I can have some pizza, I can have some pasta, I can have some burrata cheese, Caprese salad, whatever the heck I want,'” she told BravoTV.com “I justify it in my head by it all being before 6:00. We’re all doing the best we can.”
Originally inspired by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon to try the diet plan, Stassi’s adapted version of intermittent fasting works for her because, as she declares, “A life with a salad with a teaspoon of dressing is not the life that anyone should have to live.”
