We Have a Surprising Update on a Special Item from Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix's Past

At BravoCon 2023, Ariana Madix revealed it was "difficult" to film with her ex, Tom Sandoval for Vanderpump Rules Season 11, considering their breakup that took place in Season 10. Another difficult part of the equation? The fact the pair still live in the same Valley Village home they bought in 2019. 

Ahead of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere, we were treated to a Vanderpump Rules special, dubbed “A Decade of Rumors and Lies,” which covers the last 10 years of the cast's lives and gives a look at what's to come in Season 11. During the special, Ariana shared more details about that estranged living arrangement and gave an update on a unique decorative piece in their home. 

Ariana Madix gives an update on the broken penis flute 

OK — do you remember the penis flute? 

First, we need to rewind to Season 10, Episode 15, which aired on May 17, when the infamous penis flute — a hilarious piece we've seen on other seasons of Vanderpump Rules — came back into focus. As Ariana and several friends were sitting in Ariana's living room discussing the devastation of recent events, Scheana Shay suddenly quipped, "I wanna break that penis flute right there," pointing to the object that was displayed on a shelving unit in the living room. 

Then, when Scheana refused to break the flute herself, the group's pal, Logan, grabbed the object and broke it over his leg. 

"I can't believe you did that ... I really didn't want you do to that," Ariana said at the time. 

Fast-forward to a sneak peek from Season 11 and it seems the penis flute has been put back together — much to Ariana's chagrin. 

During the episode, Ariana's pal and business partner, Katie Maloney, stops by Ariana's home for a catch-up chat. While discussing the details of her current living situation with Tom (more on that below), Ariana also shared some news about the previously broken penis flute: "He had his assistant glue the penis flute back together."

Ariana Madix reveals Tom Sandoval wants to "buy her out" of their shared home 

Further in her conversation with Katie, Ariana noted how the house is the last element that is "tying" them together. She went on to share more details about what her former beau proposed about the living situation.

"He wants to buy me out and stay here," Ariana shared, to which Katie replied, "[If] he has that kind of money ... go buy something else!" 

Ariana continued: "I'm sorry but ... you don't have to move but I do?"
