Does Sandoval Regret Spending Thousands of Dollars on James and Raquel's Engagement?
Following James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss' recent breakup, Tom Sandoval shared how he feels about splitting the bill for the former couple's $25k engagement night.
Tom Sandoval is sharing exactly how he feels about splitting the bill for James Kennedy's $25,000 proposal to Raquel Leviss now that the couple has broken up.
On Part 1 of Vanderpump Rules' Season 9 reunion on January 25, James looked back on the proposal and their engagement party, explaining, "We went through a lot, and we did it big." Although Tom was shocked by the breakup news, he couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm sorry for laughing," he said. "I was just thinking of the big engagement."
Like many viewers at home, Andy Cohen admitted to Tom, "I'm kinda thinking about all the money and time you spent." However, Tom had no regrets about his significant contribution to the "Rachella"-themed proposal. "It was worth it," he declared. "Tenfold."
On the October 19 episode of Vanderpump Rules, Tom opened up about why he offered to pay so much for the proposal. "James and I split the $25k because nothing brings me more joy than to help a friend accomplish a dream that they have."
As James explained on the January 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he is still happy with his choice to put together such a grand proposal. "I don't regret anything in my life," he said. "Everything happens for a reason, so no regrets." However, there was one thing he wanted to clarify about the eventful evening: "I spent more money than Tom Sandoval did in total, OK?"
