Katie Maloney Says Filming Vanderpump Rules with Tom Schwartz Had a Lot of "Awkward Moments"

The Vanderpump Rules cast member teased Season 10 tension during the WWHL Legends Ball episode.

There's nothing like working with an ex — even when you're Vanderpump Rules' Katie Maloney. During BravoCon 2022's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Legends Ball episode, she teased exactly how much tension fans can expect to see between her and now ex-husband Tom Schwartz as they navigate their divorce during the upcoming Season 10.

"There were definitely some awkward moments, yeah," she revealed to host Andy Cohen on the episode, which aired on Sunday, October 16, as fellow Vanderpump Rules cast member James Kennedy emphatically nodded his head in the background.

After announcing their split in March after 6 years of marriage, the couple finalized their divorce on October 13. As for Katie's current relationship status, she also told Andy, "I am dating. Yeah, I definitely am."

That wasn't the only time Katie — or her fellow Vanderpump Rules cast members, for that matter — discussed her romantic life at BravoCon either. During the SUR'ving Up the Latest Vanderpump Rules panel on Saturday, October 15, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval revealed that Katie had the most "surprising" hookup on the upcoming season, prompting the audience of Bravoholics to erupt in cheers.

Nowadays, she's still keeping things casual when it comes to finding her next boyfriend. "I wouldn't say I've met him yet ... I'm having fun right now," Katie teased during the fan Q&A portion of the panel. "I've just been happy."
