Edie Falco Confirms That She Reprised Her Role from The Sopranos

Emmy-winner Edie Falco says it’s true that she reprised her role of Carmela Soprano in The Many Saints of Newark before they cut her scenes from the movie. She reveals that the film was originally going to start with Carmela in the present day talking about when her family first came to the United States from Italy. She says David Chase called her to say her part would be on the cutting room floor.
