Andy Cohen Reveals the Strangest Decor Details in Real Housewives’ Homes
The Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host spilled the tea on the peculiar details of certain Housewives' abodes.
Through years of peeping into Real Housewives' homes, we've seen some extraordinary spaces from coast to coast. (Kyle Richards' black-and-white foyer? Pure class. And Sonja Morgan's townhouse garden is nothing short of magical.) But there have also been a few decorative flourishes that stand out for their, well, uniqueness. And on the January 27 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Andy Cohen revisited some of the most questionable decor in Housewives history.
In his "Watch What Happens 5" segment, Andy counted down the top five "strangest things" in Real Housewives' homes. In the number five slot was Kyle Richards' mounted turtles, while the regal chairs that three Housewives have slid into number four.
"Every queen needs her throne, and so does Jennifer Aydin, Karen Huger, and Mary Cosby, apparently," Andy said, showing off the three ladies' gigantic, tufted chairs. "Everybody has thrones — it's wild!"
Andy had to give his next shoutout to Erika Girardi's in-home Pasadena chapel (revisit it in the clip below), topped by the modern roommate situation at Dolores Catania's house. "Dolores' house comes with an ex-husband" Andy noted, showing a snap of Frank Catania chilling in her New Jersey kitchen. Any guesses on the number-one strangest room?
Without further ado, Andy gave top billing to an infamous guest room that he called "the eighth wonder of the world." He was talking, of course, about the taxidermy-laden Fish Room at Dorinda Medley's Blue Stone Manor. (Hear all about it in the clip above.)
Fun fact: The Berkshires room makes Luann de Lesseps shudder, but Andy's so enthralled with it that nabbed one of its biggest fishes for the WWHL Clubhouse.
