Natalie Portman Is Open to Reprising Her Role in Star Wars

Natalie Portman says, now that Hayden Christensen has returned to play Anakin Skywalker, there has not been any discussion about her reprising her role as Padmé Amidala in any upcoming Star Wars films or TV shows. However, she’s open to returning to the franchise. She calls that time in her career amazing and says it was the first time she shot digitally with a green screen, adding that the movie gave her a whole new set of skills. She also says she remembers the then Prince Charles asking her if she was in the original Star Wars movie at the Phantom Menace premiere.
