Paige DeSorbo Explains Why She Did That Zoom Meeting in the Middle of the Winter House
The Winter House cast member cleared up some confusion as to why she joined a “corporate Zoom meeting” from a common area of the Vermont vacation home.
On Winter House, the cast members typically spend their 17-day vacation in Vermont partying, enjoying some snow-based activities, and yes, hashing out a bit of drama. However, on the October 27 episode, Paige DeSorbo added some work into the mix, and her important meeting didn’t exactly go as planned.
“Guys, I’m getting on a Zoom, so don’t say anything inappropriate,” Paige warned her castmates as she set up her computer in an open living area on the ground floor of their house.
Unfortunately, it seems Craig Conover didn’t get the memo. In the midst of her “corporate Zoom meeting” about her Amazon fashion drop, Paige declared, “Not that many people love a miniskirt,” and Craig chimed in from the floor above, “I love a miniskirt.”
Paige wasn’t pleased. “I feel like everybody in this house, including my own boyfriend, thinks all of my work activities are, like, me playing pretend,” she said in an episode interview. “Do me a favor and shut the f--k up.”
After her call concluded, Craig asked with a laugh, “What was your meeting that you had in the middle of the house?” And Kory Keefer added, “That was stupid.”
Andy Cohen also had some thoughts on the matter. On the episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that aired the same night, Andy asked Paige, “You’re doing a Zoom in the middle of the house and you expect everyone to respect your privacy?”
“It was 10 a.m. I didn’t think they were going to start drinking yet,” Paige said before fellow guest Amanda Batula also defended the choice. “We all hang out in the kitchen too,” she said. “Paige was actually going to the quietest place in the house.”
Additionally, “Craig was still sleeping,” Paige said. “So I couldn’t do it in my bedroom.” (Watch the video above to take a tour of Paige and Craig’s bedroom.)
Without that context, Andy explained, “We were all very activated here at Watch What Happens Live seeing your annoyance. We couldn’t understand it.”
