Brock Davies Drops a Bombshell on Katie & Ariana’s Something About Her Drama with Penny
Brock Davies shed new light on the drama between Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, and Penny Davidi over Something About Her.
On Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 14, Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney revealed they were having "trouble seeing eye-to-eye" with Something About Her's chef/consultant Penny Davidi as they disagreed over Penny's salary and partnership in the company.
However, Brock Davies reveals in the video above that there is even more to the story.
Brock Davies claims Penny Davidi owns the Something About Her trademark
"I looked at the trademark, and the trademark is owned by Penny, the lady they hired," Brock says in the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show video above. "The trademark is owned by her husband, ladies and gentlemen — which means the sandwich brand is owned by Penny and her husband, who is an attorney, a litigator."
Brock, who is Scheana Shay's husband, adds, "I know for a fact that they're having issues trying to get a contract with this woman."
Does chef Penny Davidi still work at Something About Her?
No. On an April 19 appearance on the Popping Off with Teddi Mellencamp and Emily Simpson podcast, Katie revealed, "We're not working with Penny any longer."
"You know, I mean, we loved working with Penny, and Penny was great," she added. "But ultimately it wasn't the right fit."
On the Vanderpump Rules episode, Katie explained more about the issues they were facing.
"We originally brought Penny on to be our COO and head of back of house," she said. "But we are having a little trouble seeing eye-to-eye on what her role will be in our business."

As Ariana and Katie struggled to figure out their future with Penny during the episode, they also revealed an exciting new hire on the team: Tom Sandoval's former assistant, Ann Maddox.
On April 26, Ann told The Daily Dish via email, "I am very excited about my new job at Something About Her. Ariana and Katie are the best bosses a girl can ask for! [I] can’t wait to 'break bread' with all the lovely fans of VPR at the sandwich shop. See you soon!"
Katie gushed over Ann in the Vanderpump Rules After Show video above, declaring, "I already think she's a great addition ... Just her presence and enthusiasm and everything."
