Jacqueline Laurita's Daughter Ashlee Holmes Details Her "Rough" Start to 2024

Ashlee Holmes is getting real about where she stands in her life today is getting real about where she stands in her life today. Ashlee took to personal Instagram account to reflect on the ups and downs she's faced in 2024, so far.

But even though things have been hard for her, she is remaining optimistic about what's to come next.

What Ashlee Holmes Is Up to in 2024

Ashlee posted a Reel with a number of clips taken throughout the year so far. She filmed a number of moments — from her Sundays in church, to her son Cameron's field hockey games and jiu-jitsu matches, as well as tender moments with her dad, Matt Holmes, half-brother, Anden Holmes, and other family members.

While this video served as a highlight reel for the past four months, she revealed in the caption of the photo that not everything has been OK for her. 

"This year started rough. I'm not gonna lie," the daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum, Jacqueline Laurita, admitted. "And while I could easily go on about all the bad things that have occurred this year thus far...I choose to focus on all of the good that has happened amidst the chaos these first few months of the year. There has been so so SO much good. (And more than half of it — should I get better at that? lol) I'm looking forward to what God has planned for my loved ones and I as the rest of the year unfolds for us."

Ashlee continued, noting that her coworkers at Alo and family members have done so much for her so far. "I'm just so grateful for my son, my family, my friends, my coworkers — who have become my friends," she wrote. "Everyone has played a role in bringing me such joy at one point or another so far this year — and always. God is just SO great y'all."

If the Instagram post above did not give you any indication, Ashlee has been very busy lately. Not only with work, but with raising her son.

The makeup artist has more than 11 years of experience in the beauty industry. In addition to doing makeup on clients like RHONJ cast member, Rachel Fuda, Ashlee has been busy as part of the team at Alo. Her Instagram feed is full of photos and videos taken of her repping the brand, which she seems to absolutely love.

But there is nothing that she loves more than Cameron. Ashlee has posted a number of photos of him to her feed recently — from him earning his white belt in jiu-jitsu to wearing Alo just like his mom.

Ashlee and Cameron's dad, Pete Malleo, are no longer together. In a May 2022 Instagram post, she revealed that their divorce had been finalized the previous month. She wrote about her devotion to raising her son in the caption of the post. "Regardless of what happens in the future, Cameron came from this chapter," she wrote. "For that, I will be forever grateful."
