The Guinness Book of World Records is a fickle tome. While it refuses to recognize The Most Border Collies Assembled in One Place (it won’t award breed-specific achievements, but the record is now 567, if you’re curious), it does recognize The Longest Human Tunnel Traveled Through by a Skateboarding Cat. If you ask us, that record seems way more niche and makes us feel like we should go ahead and submit Charrisse Jackson Jordan for Most Minutes Spent Hoverboarding While Rapping on Cable Television.
But we digress. The Longest Human Tunnel Traveled Through by a Skateboarding Cat is, indeed, a true Guinness Record, and lo and behold, it has just been broken by the very cat who already held the title: a tabby named Boomer. “The rule is he must push the skateboard by himself under everyone’s legs,” says Robert Dollwet, Boomer’s human. And push the skateboard by himself under everyone’s legs he did—20 pairs of legs, to be exact, up from his previous record of 13. Please enjoy his (somewhat) amazing feat:
