Aesha Scott Reveals a Sweet Update on Her Boyfriend Scotty: "Sooooo Happy!"
The Below Deck Down Under cast member is swooning over a surprise from her boyfriend.
Aesha Scot's heart — and stomach — are full. The Below Deck Down Under cast member recently shared an update on her relationship with her boyfriend, Scott “Scotty” Dobson, and it involves some food that had her feeling elated.

In a recent Instagram Story, the New Zealand native shared a sweet update on her relationship — not through a couple's selfie, but through a sandwich. In a photo, Aesha showed off a plate that held a crunchy snack which Scott had lovingly prepared for her.
In her caption, the stew explained: "[Scotty] ran in and gave me a chip sandwich and it made me sooooo happy!" She added: "Been ages since my last one! Vegemite and chicken chips always."
Side note: This isn't the first time a Below Deck personality has given us a taste of fare from Down Under. Back in 2021, Izzy Wouters made a "fairy bread cake." The lead deckhand explained the Australian treat, which she said was a staple at any party she went to growing up.
"So, you get a piece of really cheap bread ... and then you get butter, and you lather the butter on, and then you get hundreds [of] thousands of sprinkles," she says. "And then you, like, put it all over the bread, you dap it in there, and it makes like this colorful rainbow bread."

Speaking of rainbows and happy things, Aesha and Scott are still going strong after more than three years of dating. During her tenure on Below Deck Down Under, Aesha has gushed about her relationship with Scotty — and their nontraditional living situation.
"Scott and I have been together for over two years now, and we're planning to buy a house in New Zealand," she said on the show's second season, which aired in the summer of 2023. "Because living in the converted ambulance has been lovely, but we would really like to poop in real toilets instead of in buckets. The next step in our relationship is flushing."
During a virtual chat with BravoTV.com in July, Aesha shared another update about her boyfriend. "Scott and I are just better than ever, I absolutely love the sh-t out of that man. He's so wonderful," she said. "He's back in Colorado at the moment working in a bar. His goal is to be a pro athlete, so he's just made a short film that he's entered into film festivals about his speed-flying and he's wanting to work on a feature-length film next. "
She then elaborated on her plans to buy property with him in New Zealand (which is where the two are both from).
"I'm here [in New Zealand] seeing family, and then I'm going to Australia for work. We spend a lot of time apart, but [we're] stronger than ever," she gushed. "We're just saving at the moment to buy property in New Zealand this summer."
Though Scotty and Aesha aren't yet engaged, the chief stew is expecting that they will be together for the rest of their lives.
"He's definitely, you know, he's the person. We'll get married and have kids and all of that, for sure, eventually," she concluded. "I think we're in just such a busy phase in our lives that we just, you know, there's no rush."
