Cuba's currently one of the buzziest countries for tourism — what with private jet travel, more celebs and luxury stays, and the historic return of a U.S. cruise ship. And as the trend of destination fashion shows is on the rise — think Louis Vuitton celebrating its resort collection in Palm Springs last year, and Dior's 2016 cruise show in the Côte d'Azur— it was only a matter of time before a major show hit the island destination.
Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld has been taking the shows abroad for 10 years now — and his latest event in Cuba yesterday brought big industry names to the island... and gave us a glimpse inside the once closed-off nation.
