George and Amal Clooney: Low-Risk Babymoon in Europe Before Twins

Nothing too exotic for the famous family.

George Clooney apparently wasn't kidding when he said that he and Amal would "be more responsible" and "avoid danger" when it comes to travel, with twin babies on the way.

Instead of winging off to some far-off land, the pair are right now enjoying a very low-key babymoon in Europe, according to People, which reported that the couple looked “happy and relaxed” while they strolled holding hands near their property in the English countryside.

Back in February, the couple took a trip to Paris for the César Awards, where George scooped up honors. While there, they took in an intimate dinner by candlelight at the historic restaurant Lapérouse. And they also used their Paris time to do a little baby shopping. (No Babies R Us for these two.) They searched for goods at Baudou, a boutique selling handmade layette and nursery furnishings.

If a more far-flung trip is in their future, it would likely have to be soon, given that Amal’s pregnancy is advancing and flying long distances will soon become impractical at best, and dangerous at worst; twin pregnancies are by definition “high risk” and doctors typically make stricter recommendations for travel and other activities.
