A Shelter Dog Tried a Unicorn Puppuccino—And Her Response Was Literally Magical

This is the definition of rainbows and puppies!

The Unicorn Frappuccino—a pink, blue, and purple saccharine swirl of zeitgeisty goodness—was arguably Starbucks’ smartest marketing campaign of the past decade. It never promised to taste good; all it was selling was social media shares and selfie opportunities. And in a true FOMO kicker, it disappeared as quickly as it arrived (just like its mythical inspiration).

But just because it was a marketing campaign doesn’t mean it wasn’t capable of bringing true joy, as evidenced by this video of a shelter dog enjoying a canine-version friendly of the treat.

Baby Ruth, a pittie-mix from the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento, took a stroll to her local Starbucks and ordered the Unicorn Puppuccino (essentially just whipped cream and pink sprinkles). And within moments of lapping up the colorful, creamy concoction—POOF!—Baby Ruth transforms into a unicorn herself! (Big ups to Starbucks for hosting the sweet doggo!)
