A deaf Saint Bernard puppy named Frances was recently adopted by the good people at Sunflower Farm Creamery in Cumberland, Maine. The playful, expressive pup is “the biggest love I have ever met and we are already deeply in love with her.”
The dairy farm is home to dozens of small stature Nigerian Dwarf goats (they even have their own Live Goat Cam). This particular breed is very gentle and friendly, so it’s no surprise that the tribe immediately took interest in Frances.
“So far, Mildred the 8-week-old goat kid is most interested in befriending her,” the farm writes on YouTube. “Turns out they were both born on the same day! (April 24!) Mildred had a rough start and grew up inside for her first two weeks sandwiched between our Pug Rex (who recently died) and a heater on his dog bed, so it is no surprise that she is the least suspicious of the pup.”
Watch Frances in action as she tries to commune with the goats!
