"I had a blast doing this show with Telepictures," she said. "My entire staff worked so hard and made everyday so much fun. I am thankful for the experience and for all my fans who tuned in every day."
Bethenny, executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, struggled to grow its audience during its run. The show launched nationwide last fall after a summer test in 2012. She's not going away immediately, however: her show will continue to air through May.
Despite the end of her show, Bethenny won't have much time to sulk. She's recently added another line of drinks to her Skinny Girl brand and an unnamed source tells People, "She'll continue to grow, focus on her brands and work on her growing empire."
I own my own business, and my day doesn't start until after Bethenny show is off the air. I'm truly saddened by this. Now I have to switch my NYC trip. Change in plans for NYC trip. GMA, KELLY & MIKE, BETHENNY, ELLEN and try my best to attend a taping of SNL. Darn!
Didn't watch the show.....stopped watching anything Bethenny after the way she treated her husband and particularly his parents. The Bethenny I grew to love shocked me with her behavior to a family who wanted to take her in. No matter how much she talked about Wanting a family.....she didn't want to compromise the way families do....she wanted one but didn't want to give to one. It would be nice for her to learn from her parent's mistakes but instead.....she repeats them. Sad all the way around.
This makes me sad! I was going to plan a trip to NYC JUST TO SEE HER! Maybe Bravo can give her her own reality show! I am not sure I can imagine life without Bethenny!
I'm sad to hear that Bethenny's show is canceled. I DVR it everyday. When I come home from work, I click it on and start singing the theme song, "Calling all my girls, you can talk, it's your day, celebrate!" Gets me in a good mood. It's like unwinding from a long day of work with an old friend who lifts me up, gets me motivated, and gives me lot's of juicy gossip! The perfect show for me! I will miss it. Thanks, Bethenny! Hope to see you doing something wonderful real soon! long time fan
Please no more Bethenny. I use to be a fan but then the "real" B came out and I can't stand her anymore. What type of person doesn't want to mend the fence with their Mom? I mean come on.
Bethenny needs another Bravo show so fans like myself can get back in touch with her authentic self. What's always set her apart is her abrasive and witty "tell it like you feel it" approach and tendency to say the inappropriate things everyone else is thinking. The Bethenny we saw on her talk show was a complete disconnect from her brand. She was too "nice," too filtered, and rarely funny...the complete opposite of the Bethenny we experience on Bravo. This may have been part of her attempt to recruit guests beyond Bravolebrities but she probably would have had more success if she remained true to herself. The show content was also very random, mastered the obvious and was geared more toward 20-somethings, while the profile of the average Bravo female, who I'm guessing also represents Bethenny's core fan base, is 43, well educated and well traveled. Another disconnect from Bethenny's actual brand. Will the REAL Bethenny please stand up? I miss you, girl!
So sorry her show didn't make it. It really was fun to watch. I guess its hard with so many competing talk shows. I think if more people had caught it I know it would have taken off. Good luck to you Bethany.
i am glad it is cancelled. i used to really love B but have quit watching her show because she is so biased. Watched Kathy Griffin's comedy concert and was shocked at the way she said B acted at the daytime Emmy's. B acted like she was so above the D-list celebrity's. maybe she won't be feeling so high and mighty now that her 15 mins are up
@dgnyc That is what Omarosa was trying to tell Bethenny but she didn't want to hear it. So sad, I do love her and will miss her!
@dgnyc I guess we were watching different shows...
I really enjoyed Bethenny at one time, but after she continually tried to humiliate and castrate her soon-to-be-ex husband, and belittle his family (who were nothing but kind to her), my opinion has drastically changed -- especially after she claimed she really wasn't in love with him! Just a sperm donor, huh Bethenny?
I find it ironic that most of the shows I watched were somehow related to relationships -- of which she has shown she knows little or nothing about. It was amazing to me how many times she interjected her crumbled marriage into the discussions, aiming all of her arrows at Jason. (sarcasm here]
I think what we (or, at least I) saw on her show was a mean-spirited, self-centered, manipulative person. (Gee, wonder how Jill Zarin knew that?) [more sarcasm]
I love the fact that she built her own successful brand. Kudos to her! But, that's all she will have if she doesn't learn to be a little less self-absorbed.
P.S. I'm beginning to believe her mother more and more...and, Bethenny should find another therapist.
@fiesta - Me too!! Bethenny was ALWAYS my fav on RHONY!
@fiesta That probably will never happen. She burned too many bridges when she left.
@Halo5964 I was going to post that same thought regarding what Omarosa said, but something told me to scroll down and read first!
I used to love Bethenny until she started bad-mouthing Jason and his parents. I lost all respect for her and don't care at all about her or her boring talk show.
