On last week's Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore and Porsha Stewart (finally) bonded over their joint desire to have kids one day. And now Kenya is one step closer to making that dream a reality.

The Housewife has revealed she recently underwent fibroid surgery to help increase her chances of getting pregnant, writing on Instagram that the surgery was a success. "Excellent female doctors in Atlanta!" she wrote before tagging the post "#closertomydreams" and "#Im not 43 yet!"

The surgery is a part of Kenya's plans to have a baby this year via in vitro fertilization. "I want to give my baby the childhood I never had," she recently said.

In the meantime, the model and fitness guru has been keeping us posted on her recovery on her Twitter account as she deals with some discomfort, loss of appetite and insomnia. Though perhaps the most grievous part of her surgery is that the doctor told her, "No twirling." Obviously she needs to get better ASAP so that this can be remedied immediately!
