Need new love in your life? Trying to get back into the dating game? On last night's Watch What Happens Live, Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger doled out her expert advice, recommending online dating sites to several viewers who called in with love woes.
But she has one important rule for anyone embarking on digital romance: Don't Google your date!
"I think you should leave it to mystery. Don't go look at those sites," she tells Andy Cohen. "If you know too much information it'll kill the whole deal. You're going to be quizzing them on stuff that they don't know you know about them. It's like you're doing a job interview."
In the clip below, Stanger, who recently revealed how she fell in love with David Krause, delivers her anti-Googling manifesto and presents her edict about profile photos (hint: have a professional one).
Watch Patti Stanger sound off on online dating rules and tell us in the comments: could you resist looking up a blind date?
Don't google 'em? What planet is this nut case woman from? Does she have any idea how many women have hooked up with perverts and psychos on the internet and ended up raped or dead or scammed because they were maybe told by some old maid Jewish yenta know it all not to google them? Geeeesh!
