Tamra Barney Talks Engagement, Wedding Plans, and That Ring
The RHOC star shares the story behind her bling for the first time.

The Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Barney and boyfriend Eddie Judge cemented their love in the shiniest way possible recently -- an engagement ring -- news that got RHOC fans buzzing (us included). So we got in touch with Tamra to get the story on the ring, the happy couple's wedding plans, and whether or not her co-stars will be getting fitted for bridesmaid dresses.
The Dish: Your ring is stunning! Did you help Eddie pick it out?
Tamra: This is a funny story and the first time I have ever told it publicly. Eddie and I are big Costco fans and go together once a week. Everyone knows that the jewelry is right when you walk in. For the past year, I would look and try on the rings, and he would always drag me away telling me if I didn't stop he would actually buy me a Costco ring one day. I told him I wouldn't have it any other way. Guess what? He did! The best part is, it came in bulk! We often joke that we will get married at Costco. I love my ring and it is the exact ring I had been looking at for the past year. However, I am having my jeweler at Nuggets and Carats design two pave eternity wedding bands to go on each side of the ring.
The Dish: Did you have any clue that he planned to pop the question while on vacation?
Tamra: I thought it was strange that production wanted to go on our vacation three months after we wrapped up filming. I had talked to Heather and she said, "I bet he is proposing." So then I couldn't stop thinking about. I didn't want to get my hopes up since Eddie loves to travel and takes me away every chance he gets.
The Dish: Who was the first person you called to tell you were engaged?
Tamra: I called my Mom and she was so excited.

Congratulations Tamara and Eddie, I am so happy for you both. You two make the most adorable couple and have wonderful personalities. Best of luck to you both although I have a sneaky feeling you won't need it. I think the two of you will live your life out together-happily ever after! : ) If you have a child together can you even imagine how beautiful it would be?
I'm happy for you but I heard it was staged. Your blog seems like you are trying really hard to conceal it. I hope you guys wait because marriage is a serious thing. But seeing how bravo set up your engagement... we will probably see your wedding for the next season finale. That would be fun for viewers. Ill watch! I guess it is great if they are covering the bill... Whatever works for you and Eddie. Good luck.
I hope after you get married you will leave the housewives it seems those on there does not have good marriages.
Congratulations Tamara and Eddie !! Tamara, I'm so glad you're not bitter like I am. I too have 2 divorces under my belt and after 6 years in 2009 I finally met someone, and moved in together the following year. I VOWED I'd NEVER get married again and actually my first tattoo was right after my second divorce. It's FU on my ring finger!! no joke!! It gives me hope watching your love story that maybe someday I'll move on even though I love the man I'm with he knows my stance on a third marriage. The tragedy of my story was when my ex committed suicide not him re-marring our cleaning lady 2 MONTHS after our divorce was final. well, I'm probably revealing TMI !! Congrats to you and Eddie! U crack me up all the time and am soo happy you found a nice man. U deserve it. You've always been yourself on RH and I appreciate that. If it was any of the other ladies from ur cast they'd never tell or lie about where the ring was from. Keep keepin it real lady;)

can u please tell me if there is an other station i can get this programme on other than bravo as in scotland we dont get bravo anymore and i dont want to miss any programmes on the housewives thanx
