Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Snow Day in Norway Is Almost More Cuteness Than We Can Stand (PICS)

The cold never bothered them, anyway.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are wrapping up their four-day tour of Scandinavia, and my, what a time was had by all! (Well, judging from the photos, anyway — we didn't get that travel-with-the-royal-family gig after all.) The trip through Sweden and Norway included black-tie outings galore, and Kate Middleton made plenty of headlines for the elegant evening gowns she wore along the way.

But, if we do say so ourselves, the pregnant royal and her husband looked their most adorable when they were bundled up in ski jackets and pom-pom hats while at the top of Oslo's famous Holmenkollen ski jump.

Yes, that's correct: The royals stepped out in pom-poms, and — with their happy smiles and rosy cheeks — looked like a jolly couple from a picture book about wintertime. And, things only got cuter when little Norwegians entered the picture.

Joining the couple on their snowy outing were Norway's Crown Prince and Princess, and some talented ski jumpers under the age of 18. The prince and duchess gamely joined in with the kids' activities, which included roasting sausages over an open fire and learning about Scandinavian Sami tents. Middleton got so into the carefree spirit, she reportedly even lobbed a snowball at her princely companion.

Check out photos from the world's cutest snow day, below, and see if this isn't the exact winter pick-me-up you need.

Can you handle the joviality? It's almost enough to make us abandon plans for a beach vacation, and head to a snowy hilltop instead! (Almost.)
