Friends Mourn Wall Street Exec Who Died in Rare Shark Attack in Costa Rica

The shocking event happened at Cocos National Park, off the country's coast.

Rohina Bhandari, a 49-year-old New Yorker and Wall Street executive, was tragically killed by a tiger shark while scuba diving in Costa Rica last week. Among the friends mourning the shocking loss is Jill Kargman. The Odd Mom Out creator and lead recalled on Twitter the last time she saw Bhandari.

Bhandari was diving with a supervised group in Cocos Island National Park when the attack occurred; a guide was also bitten but sustained non-fatal injuries. Officials stated that it's the first accident of "this magnitude" to have happened there.
