Fabio questions Richard's anniversary gift for his wife.

Another week of Life After Top Chef has come and gone, but you and #TeamFabio still come to read my blog! Thank you for all the love and support that you have shown to me.... Whenever I am feeling like it is just me against the rest of the world, I know that the best fans in the universe have my back!! It is too bad that my mom does not see all the love and attention that I am getting from #TeamFabio. Maybe then she would not be so worried about me all the time. But she is the greatest mom ever, so what should I expect?!)

It is hard not to get emotional when you see your mom is upset.... I am no different! I hate to see her crying because she is missing her son. But I am working hard so that I can move my mom and my dad to the United States. I would love to keep them close... but... what is it that they say? Be careful what you wish for?! A few years ago my mom got really sick and she had to stop working. This was really hard for her because she was always a hard worker since before I can remember. Since my parents have retired, I have taken it upon myself to make sure that they do not have to worry about money anymore.... I have been very blessed in my opportunities in this country.... I am LIVING the American DREAM!

It is my belief that the best gift you can give your parents is to live a happy and successful life surrounded by the people that you love! I have pride in being a good gift giver, for both my mother and significant other.... I like to surprise her with something she would love but never think to get for herself. You have to know her really well to understand this completely, but let's talk a little bit about some horrible gift-giving ideas for a second... can you believe that Top Chef Richie Blais bought his wife a chef knife for their ANNIVERSARY?!
