David: Finding the Right Listing Seemed Laughable

David Parnes explains how his negotiation tactics were challenged during this episode.

By David Parnes

I was thrilled to welcome my sweet #MaxiAndBella back onto the show in this episode. My basset hounds truly bring such joy and peace to my life, and I love starting my day with our walks. After clearing my head, it was time to take on the challenge of finding the perfect property for developer Zach Vella. #BondStPartners was honored to find Zach Vella and his fiancé a home they could settle down in but knew it would be no small task. And were we ever right! While we hit certain criteria with the initial properties we showed Zach, we clearly missed the mark with the finished home in the Trousdale Estates and the bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills. With Zach’s list of demands, poker face, and the lack of inventory, finding the right listing seemed laughable...so we did! But after a good chuckle at our own expense, we got serious...and found Stradella.

How to Watch

In this case, the third showing was a charm! Stradella had the location, privacy, style, and epic views Zach and Michelle were looking for. It even needed a bit of remodeling, an opportunity for Zach to add his own touches to their home. Once we saw even the slightest enthusiasm from him, we knew we couldn’t lose this deal and had to secure Stradella as a “steal.” And while our negotiation tactics were certainly tested, seeing a smile from Zach when we ultimately saved him $500,000 made it all worth it!
