James Harris and David Parnes "Bid Farewell" to Mauricio Umansky and The Agency

In 2022, James Harris and David Parnes left Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Now, the realtors are making another big move: they're leaving Mauricio Umansky's brokerage, The Agency, after a decade of business together, and joining Carolwood Estates. 

The duo just made the switch to the almost two-year-old agency founded in 2022 by Drew Fenton, Nick Segal, and Ed Leyson. Keep scrolling to get all the details about James and David's decision to leave The Agency and their new business ventures.

On February 20, The Hollywood Reporter released a statement from the Bond Street Partners founders about their departure from The Agency. 

"After a decade of remarkable growth and achievement [we] bid farewell to The Agency and announce [our] new partnership with esteemed colleagues at Carolwood Estates," the statement read. "As proud contributors to The Agency’s legacy of excellence and innovation in the real estate industry, our team is grateful for the unwavering support and collaboration of our colleagues, clients and partners."

The statement continued: "Reflecting on the past decade, we are humbled by the incredible growth, meaningful relationships and numerous milestones we have shared together. We express our sincere appreciation to The Agency’s leadership team and staff for their guidance, mentorship and camaraderie throughout our journey. As we look forward, we are excited to embark on this new chapter with Carolwood, a move that aligns us with like-minded professionals dedicated to excellence and client-centric service.”

James Harris and David Parnes share more details about their personal lives 

In addition to making business moves, both James and David have kept fans updated about their personal lives over the past few years via social media. 

In January 2022, James revealed he was "moving on" from the home he and his family had lived in for the past five years. "End of an unbelievable era," he said in an Instagram video showing the almost empty house. "Five years of just unbelievable memories."

Additionally, in May 2022, David announced the birth of his second child, daughter Lily Jane Parnes, with his wife Adrian Abnosi (the couple have another daughter, India, whom they welcomed in 2018).
