A Vocab Lesson

Tara tells us what two words should never, ever be used when speaking to a woman.

Wow! Was tonight's episode an absolute whirlwind or what? I'm still trying to catch my breath. Just when I start forgetting life's craziness, I watch a new episode and  am instantly reminded of the wonderful insanity in our lives.

And on the topic of "crazy," I just have to say that I am so glad Drew and I rescued the sweet pup we decided to name Elliot. I can't describe my feelings when we save a life…I'm just so grateful and proud that my charity Paws in the City could save Elliot's life with his much-needed heartworm treatment.

From Elliot's case, you can see that it is extremely expensive to provide quality medical treatment for our rescues, so I always try to create new and unique ways to fundraise for these needy animals. That's why I always stretch my creativity, because I know that lives of dogs and cats are in the balance; the more we raise, the more we save.

Now while I try to be as creative as I can be, I have to say that I would have never guessed that dog jewelry would have been such a hit! So thank you, Amber Venz! She was an absolute sweetheart to create such amazing matching jewelry for dogs and their "dog parents." It was Amber's creativity plus our guests' wonderful generosity at my dear friend Angie Barrett's gorgeous home that created a wonderful event. So thank you to all involved.

In the vein of everyone getting along, I was so happy that Drew and Matt were able to work through their differences at my party. Honestly, those boys are (both) well over six feet, so if there had been some sort of altercation there is no way I could've stopped them from going over the balcony! Whew…disaster avoided and overall a great night.

Let me wrap up with a note on a little ugliness from tonight, and guys take note -- there are two words that you never (ever) call a woman, and you know what those words are: "bitch" and "see you next Tuesday." I think my jaw hit the floor when I heard this, but I have to admit that Courtney did a way better job than I would have if someone called me that. I love my baby brother, Drew, but I would have probably launched him over the balcony. Listen up, Drew -- never under any circumstances call a woman either of those words! Just remove them from your vocabulary; life will be so much better that way, I promise.

I Left My Heart in San Francisco

Glenn may be sad about leaving Dallas, but he's looking forward to spending time with Rebecca.

Since this is the last episode, I am pretty bummed out! I am heading to Oakland, CA. Although I am going to miss all my friends here in Dallas, it's time for me to get back to work and start training for the football season coming up. Not to mention the fact that Rebecca lives in San Francisco and I will be able to hang out with her in such an amazing city (the same city where we first met).

It was fun getting Matt back out on the football field and having him throw the ball around with me and my buddy Brett (who is actually the punter now for the Houston Texans). I have known Brett for about eight years now and consider him the little brother that I always wanted.

It was hard for me at dinner to tell everyone that I was leaving. I didn't really know where to start, so I just came out and said it. I think I caught everyone by surprise, but they all knew eventually I was going to have to head back out there. They just didn't know when. I'm going to miss them while I am gone!

Neill's concert was a blast! She has such a catchy and pretty voice to say the least! It was definitely a good way to send me off, having everyone there and enjoying each other's company. I really hope this isn't the last time I talk with you guys. I enjoyed writing these blogs each week and hearing your responses.

In our downtime follow me on Twitter @glennpakulak. Until next time!
