Before year's end, Abby Elliott will be a married woman. And that means that it's a group effort to put all the finishing touches on her upcoming nuptials to House of Cards writer Bill Kennedy.
"We're at the two month mark, so it's all about the little details: Like the holders for the place cards. I'm like, 'Where do I get those? Where do I even start?' But all the big things and details are squared away, so there will be a wedding. I'm very excited to marry my fiance," the Odd Mom Out star told People, adding that her dad, actor Chris Elliott, has also been active in getting her ready to say "I do."
"My dad is helping a lot actually," she said. "He's been very involved, it's really sweet and my mom as well. And, Billy my fiancé has been a little. He takes care of the stuff that I don't want to deal with. [My dad's] very involved in the catering process. A lot of food things that he wanted. They're getting the house in shape, obviously."
While she didn't spill too many details about her wedding dress, she did reveal that it was designed by Leanne Marshall. "I thought I was going to go with a very Bohemian style, something a bit different," she said. "I ended up with something opposite and that's all I'm going to say." Abby and Billy announced their engagement last October in adorable Instagram post that was captioned "goin to the chapel!"
