Princess Charlotte Is Growing Up So Fast, She's About to Start School (Which Means You're Old)

But the Royal tot is not following in her older brother's footsteps...

Princess Charlotte, who is about to become an older sister in the spring (thanks to parents Prince William and Kate Middleton, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge), is also just weeks away from another new milestone. According to PEOPLE, the 2 1/2-year-old is scheduled to begin at Willcocks Nursery School in London, which has an annual tuition of about $12,000, in January. Kensington Palace announced the news via Twitter after sharing an adorable new family photograph:

Some Royal watchers thought she might attend Thomas's Battersea school in London, where her older brother Prince George, 4, started school back in October, but this young lady is doing her own thing.
