Reza Farahan Makes a Pretty Strong Case For Dating Nerds: "[They've] Gotta Go Downtown"

The Shahs of Sunset pal has some NSFW advice about finding a mate who has an untapped freaky side.

By Jenny Berg

As a happily married man, Reza Farahan is off the market for good. But, that doesn't mean the Shahs of Sunset pal doesn't like to lend dating advice for those still searching for their Mr. or Mrs. Right. As just one example, he's more than willing to help his gorgeous and single friend Destiney Rose find love. And recently, the haircare-line founder offered some advice that might be of interest to the single masses who think of nerd as the bad kind of four-letter word.

How to Watch

Catch up on Shahs of Sunset on the Bravo App.

When chatting with Personal Space during a visit to Bravo HQ with Destiney, Reza had this to say to his pal, and to anyone listening. "Nerds are great in bed though, we discussed this." Here's how he figures: "Cause if you have no personality, you don’t pop bottles, you’re not fun, you don’t listen to music that’s from this century, you listen to classical, you have to be good in the sack because otherwise you’re not getting a second date. You have to be really about your mate in the sack. You gotta go downtown."

He added "I would actually like to see [Destiney] date and marry a nerd, a nerd with potential. A nerd who didn’t know that he had a freakish side in him, and Destiney can help bring out the freak. Because the problem is, if you date a freak … chances are he might also do that with 12 other people, so it’s hard. You’ve got to find that balance of nerd and freak."

And for any interested suitors, Reza has this plea: "If you’re eligible and you’re a nerd who has the potential for a freakish streak, please hit Destiney up." Maybe Destiney should start hanging out at IT conferences ... or classical music concerts. We hear violinists can get pretty wild.
