Bethenny Frankel is no stranger to scrutiny when it comes to her physique, oftentimes being criticized for being too thin. But the Skinnygirl mogul thinks shaming anyone—big or small—is absolutely awful, and unfortunately easier in the Internet age.
"Being cruel in any way is terrible and people are cowards because now the people have Instagram and Twitter, and you don't have to see someone face-to-face," she tells the Daily Dish exclusively. "It's just nasty. We've gone to a nasty place, and any shaming, of any sort…it's terrible."
And if you're the on the receiving end of the shaming, the Real Housewives of New York star wants you to consider the source—hint: it's not a good one.
"It's coming from people who are bad people. Jealous, miserable, unhappy people," she shares. "So, my advice about body shaming or any shaming is to just understand that the person who said it is ignorant and not happy." Tell 'em!
