Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie, and… Angela?
Rob Kardashian’s fiancée Blac Chyna, has announced she is about to become a Kardashian. The model/club attendee, whose birth name is Angela White, will legally change her last name once she marries Rob, and will officially become the Blac sheep of the family, since her name doesn't start with a K. Well, and since Rob and Angela are reportedly the only Kardashians excited about the news.
“She's soon to be Angela Kardashian. She's ecstatic,” her spokesperson told People magazine. “She was more than excited, she was thrilled, just super happy.”
Oddly, the family has stayed mum on the engagement, and instead flew to Vail for a skiing holiday. It was reported that Rob blindsided the tight-knit family with the news, and that he went to great lengths to shock them with the very public announcement.
"No one [in his family] is jumping up and down with excitement today. They have made a united decision as a family to not comment on social media yet about Rob's engagement. The news is not shocking, and not totally unexpected,” a source told People. “There has been a fear that Blac Chyna is manipulating the situation with Rob. That he is getting himself into a situation that is not ideal for him. Blac Chyna has been great as kind of a rebound. As someone that got Rob out of a dark place, that helped him get motivated and healthy again. Let's just be honest, no one is really hoping for a marriage to happen.”
A source tells TMZ that Rob is a “serial proposer,” who even popped the question to his ex-girlfriend, Rita Ora. This time he put 500 roses and candles around Blac’s house when he popped the question.
Blac announced the news by posting a picture of the enormous ring on Instagram, before the lovebirds headed to the Ace Of Diamonds strip club in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile Kylie’s boyfriend Tyga, who is also the father to Blac’s 3-year-old son King Cairo, took to Twitter to congratulate the couple, kind of.
"Everybody deserves 2 be happy. What some1 does for their happiness is not my concern, as long as it's not interfering wit my happiness," he wrote.
"It makes me happy to see the mother of my son happy. My only concern in this situation is my son. I want him in happy environments. He's innocent in this & I want him to feel as much love as possible."
