Scheana Explains Why She Was in Tom Sandoval’s Room at BravoCon 2023 After Ariana Calls Her Out

After Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix broke up, Scheana Shay declared her loyalty to the latter Vanderpump Rules castmate. 

During the Season 10 finale, which aired in May 2023, Scheana told Sandoval that they could no longer be friends. “I don’t even know where to go from here," she said when the two had a sit-down at her home. "I mean, obviously we’re not friends anymore, because I can’t support anything you’ve done."

Why Scheana Shay Was in Tom Sandoval's Room at BravoCon 2023

During the "Battle of the Sexes" panel featuring Vanderpump Rules cast members Ariana, Lala, and James Kennedy, the DJ claimed that Lala and Scheana had spent time in Sandoval's hotel room on the first night of BravoCon weekend.

Lala immediately defended herself by denying that she was in the room. "No, I was not," she said when James asked.

Scheana, who wasn't present for the panel, later spoke to Page Six about why she went to Sandoval's hotel room. "There was a lot that was said, and I’ve not been easy on him," she said, before sharing that she went to his room to continue to have "conversations" with Sandoval about why he shouldn't be talking about Ariana anymore. "I’ve been very stern with how I feel and what I disagree with."

She also addressed why she can be seen hanging out with Sandoval in the Season 11 trailer.

"Let me tell you this. It took a whole season and a lot of conversations to even have that moment," she said about their interaction in the trailer.

Ariana Madix on Scheana Shay and Tom Sandoval's BravoCon 2023 Hangout 

Though Scheana claimed that she was only in Sandoval's hotel room to talk to him about things he has said about Ariana, the Something About Her co-owner still found the story to be strange. 

"It's weird," Ariana said to Access Hollywood. "Lala was not in the room. I was with Lala and James on that same panel. Lala was not, but Scheana was. And I was like, 'That's weird.'"
