Caitlyn Jenner Reveals She Thinks O.J. Simpson Did It in a Very Candid Chat with Andy Cohen

Yes, "it" as in the murders.

Was the O.J. Trial the First Reality Show?

Caitlyn Jenner did not hold back about any topic in a revealing Sirius XM Town Hall interview with Andy Cohen. The transgender former Olympian opened up about a myriad of personal subjects — including her rift with the Kardashians — while promoting her memoir The Secrets of My Life. And, naturally, the subject of the O.J. Simpson trial came up. As previously reported, Caitlyn talks about how she believes that Robert Kardashian (who represented the former NFL pro during the 1995 murder trial when he was found not guilty of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman) thinks his friend and client was actually guilty.

Well, turns out Caitlyn had that same feeling. "I knew he did it. There was three people at the crime scene. DNA evidence, three people at the crime scene. Pick a murderer. How hard is that?" she said, adding that her then wife/Robert's ex, Kris Jenner, agreed with her on that. "Kris was on my side."

Caitlyn then relayed to Andy more about that time in her life and how close she was with Robert before his passing in 2003 from cancer.

"In the book I talk about only one time after the second [1998 civil] trial and the whole thing was over. Robert just said to me that 'I would have been OK if they got him in the first trial.' That's the only thing he ever said and that's about the closest he'll ever come, never saying he actually did it," Caitlyn shared. (O.J. was found guilty of manslaughter during that civil trial.) "When Robert, in the first trial, he was now the guy who helped him get away with murder and he was destroyed by everyone. And I felt terribly sorry for him."

Caitlyn and Andy on April 26, 2017 discussing her revealing new memoir.

She continued, "Robert was a very good person. I really liked Robert. Robert and I had a very good relationship. He was a very good parent. He was great with the kids. We had a very good relationship. We discussed things with the kids, about the kids. We went to basketball games with little Robert together. He was a really good guy and unfortunate that he got sick and passed away. So unfortunate for the kids. But at that time where the hard part was during the trial is mostly Kourtney and Kimberly because they were a little bit older and their dad, who they love and adore which they should, is on one side and we're on the other. And so it was more tough on them than it was on us. We pretty much knew. We were just obviously very disappointed with the verdict."

UPDATE 7/20/17: O.J. was granted parole on July 20,2017 fter spending nine years in prison in Nevada in connection with a 2007 crime during which he robbed two sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas hotel at gunpoint.
