Andy Cohen Had the Sweetest Reaction to Captain Sandy Yawn's Engagement
The Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host had some kind words for the Below Deck Mediterannean boss.
On September 25, actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Below Deck Mediterranean's Natalya Scudder Andy Cohen stopped by the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen Clubhouse. Having the stewardess in the house brought some hot yachtie topics to mind for Andy Cohen. During the show, Andy made sure to share his reaction to Captain Sandy Yawn's big, diamond-flecked news.
In case you missed it, Sandy confirmed to E! News that she had recently proposed to her gospel singer girlfriend, Leah Shafer. The two had been dating for about five years. “I have been thinking about marrying Leah for years,” Captain Sandy told the outlet on September 18. “I knew from the minute I met her, but the timing had to be right. I wanted to make sure we could truly do life together first.”
Well, it looks like they can. On September 18, Sandy took to Instagram to share photos from her seaside proposal. "[It's] official! I asked Leah to marry me, and she said YESSSSS," Sandy wrote. "We are engaged! stay tuned for wedding."

Fast-forward a week, and the news had already traveled to the Clubhouse. During WWHL, Andy shared his thoughts on Sandy's major relationship update. After announcing that his guests were about to engage in some Clubhouse games (one of which you can see in the clip above), Andy issued a major mazel.
"Speaking of engaged, mazel tov to Captain Sandy on her engagement," Andy said. "That is so great. They are such a great couple. I love them together and they're so in love, and I'm just so happy for them."
Andy's not the only Bravoleb who's reacted to the big news. After Sandy shared her update on Instagram, several cast members from Below Deck Mediterranean hopped into the comments to shower the couple with love.
“SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITING GAAAHHH!!!!” Below Deck Med alum and Below Deck Down Under chief stew Aesha Scott wrote.
“Couldn’t be happier for you two!!!!! [B]est couple!” Luka Brunton, from Below Deck Down Under and Below Deck Med Season 8, added, “Congratulations,” along with two red heart emojis.
João Franco commented, “Amazing[,] Sandy.”
Below Deck Med Season 6 alum and Winter House cast member Katie Flood chimed in with, “CONGRATULATIONS! Love you guys! My lil heart is so happy for the both of you.” Bugsy Drake shared: “OMG this makes my heart beyond happy!!! “Love you both.”
