As this season of Below Deck Mediterranean started to wind down, things started heating up for Ben Robinson and Tiffany Copeland. The chef and stewardess, respectively, locked lips and hooked up during the crew's very last night on the boat in Tuesday night's season finale.
Though Ben and Tiffany both seemed a little giddy after the night they spent together, they eventually had to part ways the next morning as the charter season came to a close. So have Ben and Tiffany seen each other since? "Ben and I have hung out a few times after the season," Tiffany told The Daily Dish via email.
However, don't expect anything romantic to materialize between the two of them in the future. "We're good friends," she said. "He hired me to help him with his catering company once since we worked so well together during the season."
Tiffany admitted that it wasn't easy to hear Hannah Ferrier's commentary on the fling, such as calling the stewardess "low maintenance" and suggesting she wasn't a "proper woman" for Ben. "She's right, I AM low maintenance. Not all guys like high-maintenance women, though," she said. "But I think she was just surprised that he'd go for me, considering I'm pretty much the polar opposite of her, and I don't think she was aware that Ben and I had been flirting, nor that we had made out a few nights before. But for her to say that Ben 'stooped low' was a little upsetting."
That and the fact that Tiffany and Hannah got off to a rocky start hasn't prevented their friendship from blossoming, however. "We message each other almost daily. We keep trying to meet up since we are both in Europe right now," Tiffany said. "After that first charter, I never thought I'd be this close with her!"
As for Tiffany's other flirtmance with Bryan Kattenburg this season, she thinks that they're also "better off as friends." And it sounds like their professional relationship is also getting along swimmingly. "Bryan was actually the first person I hung out with once I was back in Florida," Tiffany shared. "He helped me get a job, encouraged me to get my captain's license, and has let me crash on his couch. And I've actually hired him to do day work on my boat."
Looking back on Tiffany and Bryan's hot tub hook-up fail from earlier this season of Below Deck Med, it's probably for the best that they're keeping things friendly and professional.
