Jeff Lewis Reveals How Zoila Chavez Is Doing Today

It’s been a few years since Bravo fans have caught up with Zoila Chavez.
Viewers first got to know Zoila when she worked as Jeff Lewis’ housekeeper on Flipping Out. The pair’s unique relationship was often highlighted on the interior design series, and Zoila ultimately retired from working for Jeff during Season 10, which aired in 2017.
Fast-forward to the August 8 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and Jeff just shared an update on how Zoila is doing today.
Jeff Lewis’ Update on His Former Housekeeper, Zoila Chavez
On the WWHL episode, Jeff noticed the photo of him, Zoila, and host Andy Cohen that is displayed in the Clubhouse. Andy then took the opportunity to ask Jeff how Zoila has been doing.
“She’s doing OK,” Jeff said.
Though Zoila stopped working as Jeff’s housekeeper years ago, she has still been involved in his life. Back in the fall of 2020, Andy shared that Zoila and Jeff were back in touch after falling out with each other on Flipping Out.
“Even though Jeff and Zoila did not end the show on great terms, I’m happy to say that they have reconciled and Zoila is alive and well and has been waiting out COVID in Nicaragua,” Andy said on an episode of WWHL. “But she’s coming back to L.A. soon.”
Zoila did make plans to return to Los Angeles, as Jeff confirmed about a month later. During a broadcast of his radio show, Jeff said that Zoila was about to take on a new position in his life as a part-time nanny to his daughter, Monroe.
“I needed someone to fill in a day or two, so I called Zoila Chavez in Nicaragua. And we had a nice conversation,” he said on the show. “She is flying back anyway in mid-October, and we are discussing her working on Saturdays. I am really, really excited.”

Jeff’s renewed friendship with Zoila isn’t the only exciting thing he has going on in his life. The interior designer added a new member to his family at the top of 2023.
On January 16, Jeff shared a photo of his new pup on his Instagram feed.
“Stop asking me if I’m going to have a second baby. Here he is!” Jeff captioned his post, also thanking the animal rescue where he adopted his new family member.
