Gretchen Rossi Just Revealed Her Family Is Getting a Little Bigger: "Joyous Occasion"

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi and her partner, Slade Smiley, are adding a new member to the family come 2024. But no, Gretchen is not pregnant again.

The mom to 4-year-old daughter, Skylar Gray Smiley, isn't expecting another child But Skylar Gray is getting a new cousin to play with, which is just as exciting. Gretchen took to Instagram on Tuesday, Dec. 5, where she shared that her brother, Ethan Forward, is expecting a baby boy and fourth child, with his wife, Dionne Forward. 

Gretchen and her mom, Brenda, had the honor of throwing Dionne a baby shower with the sweetest "we can't bearly wait" theme, complete with blue and brown balloons, and plenty of bears around the party. Gretchen shared in the caption of the Instagram post that she is so excited for her nephew's arrival.

"It was a beautiful day celebrating the joyous occasion of a new baby boy on the way!" Gretchen wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.

"Thank you Lord for another miracle of life!" Gretchen added, sharing a prayer for her nephew. "We pray you continue to bless Dionne throughout this pregnancy and through the birth and that your anointing is on my newest nephew who is going to join our crew soon!"

Aw, how sweet! And judging from the photos, Skylar looks so happy about the new addition on the way.

While Skylar isn't getting a little sibling, she is thriving by celebrating the holiday season with her parents, between hanging out in front of her family's Christmas lights and spending Thanksgiving in the cutest outfit. She also got to dress up as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin for Halloween and even entered pre-school in September.

Although Skylar only just turned four in July, she has made such a big impact on Gretchen and Slade's life so far. "Words cannot describe the daily joy you bring to our lives!," Gretchen wrote in the caption of her Instagram post celebrating Skylar's birthday. "You are soooo funny, so smart, so sassy, and truly have one of the biggest hearts I have ever encountered! You touch so many people's lives just by being YOU!"

Back in October, Gretchen shared a bit about her relationship with Slade Smiley today timed to his birthday.

“Happy Birthday to one of the good ones, my best friend [Slade Smiley],” Gretchen captioned the post. “I couldn’t imagine life without …I love you more than you could ever understand.”

Gretchen continued, “You are my rock, my confidant, my protector, my lover, my everything! God blessed me abundantly when he brought you into my life [and] I could never imagine the ride we would go on together [and] all the things we have been through over the last 15 [years]! But I fall more in love with you each passing year.”
