Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are finally consciously uncoupled.
After announcing they were “consciously uncoupling” in 2014, the duo have finalized their divorce, reports The Sun. Gwyneth had officially filed in April 2015, but Chris had not signed as the couple was working out splitting their assets. After a decade of marriage, they will share joint legal and physical custody of their two kids, Apple, 11, and Moses, 9.
The Oscar winner and the Coldplay frontman have remained good friends throughout the breakup, with Chris telling the Sunday Times last week that his separation was “wonderful.”
“You can come at it very aggressively and blame and blame. Or you can put yourself in the garage, so to speak. Take yourself apart and clean off the bits. Reassemble,” he said.
“It's always out there in the media, but I have a very wonderful separation-divorce. It's a divorce but it's a weird one. It's funny. I don't think about that word very often- divorce. I don't see it that way. I see it more like you meet someone, you have some time together and things just move through. I've lived a lot of life since then.”
Both Chris and Gwyneth have moved onto new partners and seem happy in their relationships. Gwyneth is dating Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk while Chris has been spotted out with British actress Annabelle Wallis.
